This collection is reflecting the strong energy of a winter by the sea. A winter, filled with movement but also stillness. In Ericeira, it is a special time of the year. The village calms down, while the sea flares up. It it the time of the opposites, where on one day, the sea can be so calm and gentle, and the other day wild and loud. Both merge, so do the colours and textures in my paintings of this series.
